Switch to yearly during your free trial

How the offer works, what the confirmation page shows, and how to switch back.

While you are in a monthly free trial, you can switch to yearly and keep the trial. No plan payment is due today. Your first charge on the trial end date is the yearly price.

Use this guide when

You see Switch to yearly on Overview or the Plan page, or in the day 4 reminder email.

Before you start

  • You are in a free trial on a monthly team plan with a card. The offer ends about an hour before the trial does.

Steps

  1. Choose Switch to yearly in the banner or the email.
  2. On Switch to yearly, check Due today, that your trial continues until the end date, the first charge date and how much you save a year. Due today has no plan payment in it.
  3. If the page offers a setup service at half price, tick it only if you want it. Its displayed fee is charged today, and the button shows the amount.
  4. Tick the line that agrees to the yearly charge.
  5. Choose Switch to yearly. To stay monthly, choose Go back.

The 30 day money back still applies, and your price never goes up while you keep the plan.

Adding a setup when you switch

If you add the optional setup, its half price fee is charged today even though no plan payment is due. We do not start building until your first yearly payment succeeds. If you switch back, cancel or the yearly payment fails, we flag the order and never charge you again for it.

Switch back

Before the trial ends, the same page offers Switch back to monthly.

Who is not offered it

Earlier plans, plans with a discount code, and accounts past the last hour of the trial do not see the offer.

Good ways to use this

  • Decide on day 4, when we email you the date and amount.

Common questions

Is it on the plan choice page?

No. It is in the in trial banner and the reminder email.

If something looks wrong

  • If the banner is gone, you may have dismissed it. Open the Plan page.
