Confirm a payment your bank asks about

What to do when your bank wants you to approve a plan payment.

Some banks need you to approve a payment with extra steps. This is called 3D Secure. Zapped tells you on the Plan page and by email.

Use this guide when

You see Your bank needs you to confirm this payment, or an email titled Confirm your Zapped payment.

Steps

Open the email and choose Confirm your payment, or open Plan and billing.
Choose Confirm payment and follow your bank's steps.
To use another card, choose Manage payment method instead.

Stripe may also send its own confirmation message.

If you do not confirm

The payment stays unpaid and is handled like a failed payment. Paid features follow the same rules as a failed card.

Approve it the same day.

Is this a scam?

The email carries your email safety code if you set one. Open the Plan page yourself to be sure.

If something looks wrong

If your bank app does not open, try another card from Manage payment method.
