Is this the same code as on the QR Codes page?
Yes. Share shows the card's Main QR code, the same one listed in QR Codes.

Get a card's QR code from the Share menu
Open Share on a published card to see its Main QR code, download it as PNG or SVG, and print it so it keeps working.
Every published card has a QR code you can reach in two clicks. Open Share from the card's menu in Cards, or the Share button in the card editor, and the window shows the card's Main QR code with its downloads.
Use this guide when
You want the QR code for one card right now, to download, print or send to a designer.
Before you start
- Publish the card first. Drafts cannot be shared, so they have no QR code yet.
- Main QR codes come with every plan, Free included. Anyone who can view the card can open Share and download its QR code.
Steps
- Open Cards, open the menu on the card's row and choose Share. In the card editor, use the Share button at the top instead.
- The window shows the card's Main QR code. If it is not ready yet, Zapped makes it for you, which takes a moment.
- Open the download menu beside the address and choose Download PNG or Download SVG. PNG works everywhere. SVG stays sharp at any size, so use it for print shops and large signs.
- Print the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide and keep the white border around it. Scan a printed proof with a phone before you print many copies.
- To share the card in a message instead, copy the address in the field, or use the share buttons. The field shows the card address, while the QR code holds its own short address.
The Main QR code keeps working even if you change the card's address or name, or move it to a custom domain. You never need to reprint it for that.
What else you can do with QR codes
The QR Codes page in the left menu lists each card's Main QR code and your Flexible QR codes.
A Flexible QR code opens whatever you choose and can be changed after it is printed. Make a Flexible QR code shows how, and QR codes for your cards explains scan counts and turning codes off.
If the window shows no QR code
If the Main QR code is turned off, the window says so and links to its page, where you can turn it back on.
If it says We could not load your QR code, choose Try again. The card address and the share buttons still work.
Good ways to use this
- Download the code from Share when you need it once, and use QR Codes when you manage many cards.
- Send the SVG file to print shops and keep the PNG for documents and slides.
- Add a short line next to the printed code, such as Scan to save my details.
Common questions
Will the code break if I rename the card address?
No. The code holds its own address that never changes, and it always opens this card.
Can I point this code somewhere else?
No. The Main QR code always opens its card. Add a Flexible QR code for that.
If something looks wrong
- If Share is missing from the card menu, the card is still a draft. Publish it first.
- If the download menu stays greyed out, wait for the code to load, or choose Try again.
- If a printed code does not scan, print it larger and keep the white border.
