Choose a theme and frame your images

Choose a layout and adjust your images before publishing your card.

The gallery lets you compare layouts with your own content. Image controls help you adjust the photos used by the selected theme.

Use this guide when

You want to choose a layout and adjust your images before publishing your card.

Before you start

  • Sign in and select the workspace that owns the card. A shared workspace may limit which cards you can view or edit.

Steps

  1. Open Cards, choose a card, and open its editor.
  2. In Theme, open the gallery. Browse or search, then preview a theme using Your card. Phone and Desktop help you compare the layout.
  3. Choose Use this theme to return to the editor with your choice. Previewing a theme alone does not select it.
  4. In Customizations, review your profile photo, brand logo and cover image. Where framing controls are available, adjust the crop and position to suit the layout.
  5. Review the card and choose Publish when you want visitors to see the changes.

Themes use different combinations of images. An image marked Saved for later is retained, even when the current theme does not display it.

Compare before choosing

Example previews show the gallery’s sample card. Your card previews the same design with your content, so long names and missing images are easier to spot. Phone and Desktop change the preview size. They do not create separate cards.

Use this theme selects the design and returns to the editor. Your selection is still a draft until published. Use the gallery again to compare another design.

Images depend on the design

Profile photo, Brand logo and Cover image have different jobs. Themes may display only some of them. Saved for later means the image remains attached to the card even though the current theme does not display it.

Use the available framing controls to position the important part of an image. Check both preview sizes after changing the theme because the image area can have a different shape. Do not upload another copy solely to make an unused image appear.

Good ways to use this

  • Compare Phone and Desktop previews with your real card content.
  • Use a clear profile image and a wide cover image where supported.
  • Check long names and descriptions before publishing.

Common questions

Does choosing a theme change the live card?

The selection is saved in your private draft. Publish updates the public card.

Can I use the gallery on Free?

Yes. Theme selection and editing tools are available across plans, within your card and block limits.

If something looks wrong

  • If an image is absent, check whether this theme supports that image slot.
  • If the preview looks old, wait for the draft save status and reopen the editor.
