Renew or switch an earlier plan

What you can do on an earlier plan that is no longer offered, such as the earlier Starter or Professional plans.

Earlier plans keep their plan, features and price for as long as you stay on them. You can renew, and any switch goes to the current plans.

Use this guide when

You are on an earlier plan and want to renew, change billing or move to Solo, Team or Business.

Before you start

  • Only the account owner changes the plan. Switch to Personal first.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then Plan and billing.
  2. Read the summary. It says the plan is no longer offered and that your price stays the same while you keep it.
  3. To keep your plan, do nothing. A yearly earlier plan renews as the same plan.
  4. To switch, choose one of the current plans, review what changes, tick the confirmation and confirm.

After a switch you cannot go back to the earlier plan or its price.

What the plan picker shows

Your current earlier plan and the current Solo, Team and Business plans. No other earlier plan is offered.

Billing period

A monthly earlier plan cannot become yearly on that plan. A yearly earlier plan cannot change its period. Choose a current plan for another period.

Pause and money back

Earlier monthly plans keep Pause. The 30 day money back follows the same rule as new plans.

Good ways to use this

  • Compare allowances before you switch.

Common questions

Will my price go up?

Not while you keep your plan.

If something looks wrong

  • If a plan you want is missing, it is an earlier plan and cannot be added.
