How to access Teams

Open Teams from the left menu to manage teams you own or enter a team you have joined.

Teams let you bring another person into your Zapped workspace without sharing your owner login.

Use this guide when you want to find Teams, manage a team you own, or enter a team you have joined. If you already know where Teams is and want setup steps, see How to invite and manage team members. If you are choosing permissions, see Team roles and access scopes explained.

Before you start

  • You need to be signed in to your Zapped account.
  • The Teams menu appears only when Teams is enabled for your plan.
  • If someone invited you, use the same email address that received the invite.

Open Teams

  1. Sign in to Zapped, then open Dashboard if you are not already in the app.
  2. Choose Teams from the left menu.
  3. Use Teams I Own for teams where you are the owner.
  4. Use Teams I am In for teams where another owner invited you.

The Teams page separates teams you own from teams you have joined, so owners and teammates know where to go.

What owners see

Owners see teams they created, the member count, and actions to manage teams or invite another teammate. The owner account keeps control of billing, account settings, API keys, and team management.

What invited teammates see

Invited teammates see teams under Teams I am In. After entering a team, Zapped opens the owner workspace based on the teammate role and access scope, including assigned pages such as Cards, Projects, and Statistics. A banner at the top of the app shows the active team, role, and access scope.

Leave team access

When you are done working inside another owner workspace, use Exit team access in the team banner. This returns you to your own account.

Common questions

Q: Can a team member see everything in my account?
A: No. They see only what their role and access scope allow.

Q: Why do I not see Teams?
A: Teams may not be enabled on your plan, or you may be signed in with an email address that was not invited.
