Create a new Pixel

Choose a supported pixel type, add its identifier, and save the tracking record.

A pixel record stores the identifier Zapped needs for the tracking platform you selected.

Before you start

  • Copy the exact identifier from the external platform before starting.

Add the pixel

  1. Open Pixels and choose Create Pixel.
  2. Enter a clear name for the tracking record.
  3. Choose the supported platform or pixel type.
  4. Paste the identifier exactly as provided by that platform.
  5. Save the pixel, then attach it where Zapped offers pixel tracking.
Fictional Create Pixel form with type choices and a fictional tracking identifier.
Use the identifier from the tracking platform, not a public URL.

Good ways to use this

  • Paste the tracking identifier exactly as the external platform provides it.
  • Use a descriptive internal name that includes the platform or campaign.
  • Test from the external analytics tool after the card or page has real visits.

Common questions

Should I paste the full script?

Use the identifier format requested by Zapped for the selected pixel type, not a full script unless the interface specifically asks for it.

Can I reuse the same pixel on multiple cards?

Yes, when that matches your tracking plan and the card surfaces support attaching that pixel.

If something looks wrong

  • If validation fails, check for extra spaces, a copied label, or the wrong identifier type.
  • If the external platform shows no activity, confirm the pixel is attached to the card or page visitors are opening.
