Use your vCard for receiving payments

Add a clear payment link or supported payment block, then test the visitor flow.

A payment action sends visitors from your vCard to a provider hosted destination that you control. Zapped does not collect the payment details or process the transaction.

Prepare the destination

Create a public payment link first

Choose a provider your audience can use, create a shareable page there, and test it before adding it to your card. Zapped payment blocks use public URLs.

Stripe

Payment Link

In Stripe Dashboard, create a Payment Link for a product, service, subscription, donation, or customer chosen amount. Copy the Stripe hosted link after saving it.

Stripe handles checkout, receipts, and payment methods.

Use a PayPal business account to create a hosted checkout page, set the product or service details, then copy the shareable link.

Cash App

Cash App payment request link

Use the Cash App request flow and choose Share link to create a reusable payment request with the amount and note you intend to share.

Confirm that your account is eligible before publishing.

Add and test the payment action

  1. Open Cards, choose the card you want to update, then open Blocks.
  2. Choose Add Block.
  3. Select Cash App, PayPal, Stripe, or another suitable link block that matches the public URL you created.
  4. Paste the public provider URL, then use a clear label such as Pay an invoice, Book and pay, or Make a donation.
  5. Open the public card in a private browser window, select the payment action, and confirm the provider page has the correct payee, purpose, currency, and amount before you share the card.

  • Use a clear label that tells visitors what kind of payment they are making.
  • Send visitors to a secure payment destination you control and monitor.
  • Test the payment path from a private browser window before sharing the card.

Common questions

Does Zapped process the payment?

The payment action sends visitors to the destination you configure. Review your payment provider settings outside Zapped.

Should every card include a payment action?

Only add one when payment is a useful next step for that card audience. Otherwise, keep the card focused on contact or booking actions.

If something looks wrong

  • If the payment page does not open, check the saved destination URL and confirm the provider page is live.
  • If visitors are confused, rename the block to describe the action more clearly.
