Don't Get Left Behind!

Create a free Zapped Digital Business Card with a shareable profile, QR code, and modern contact page.

Make networking and exchanging contact information a breeze.

Uniqode is easy to understand until you ask what the card does after the scan. The first card is free, Team is listed at $6 per user per month with annual billing, and Business+ uses custom pricing. We checked those prices on August 18, 2026.

For the right team, Uniqode turns a digital card into a lead capture, analytics, template, bulk creation, and CRM workflow. For a buyer expecting month to month billing, or a clearly documented way to export the card profile after a paid account lapses, the decision is less comfortable.

The card itself is simple to share by QR code, link, or wallet pass, and no app is required for recipients to view or save it. A digital card is easy to hand out. The bill arrives when the workflow begins: when a team wants the contact returned, measured, routed, and governed.

Free is a real test, with a short runway

Uniqode's Free plan is not a fake demo. It is described as one user with lead generation for up to five leads, 14 days of card analytics, basic customization, Apple and Google Wallet sharing, and unlimited sharing. That is enough to put a real card in front of people and learn whether your audience saves it.

The limit shows up quickly. Five leads can disappear at one busy event. Fourteen days is enough to inspect a launch, not enough to build a meaningful view of recurring networking. Free answers the solo buyer's first question: does a no app card exchange work in the real world? It does not answer the team's measurement question.

Start with Free if one person needs a card, basic customization is acceptable, and five collected leads can cover the trial. It is a sensible way to test the exchange before paying for a team system. If you already need shared templates, unlimited lead generation, or card activity that outlasts two weeks, Free is a test, not the destination.

Team changes the product, and the invoice

Team adds unlimited lead generation, advanced customization, premium designs, unlimited card analytics, branded QR codes, bulk card creation, template management, Google Analytics, Google Workspace integrations, and 20 Smart Fill credits each month. At $6 per user per month, the number looks friendly until you notice the annual billing. There is no monthly billing option on the checked pricing page.

That is the first serious buying decision. A solo consultant may be buying a nicer profile. A sales or event team is buying a repeatable way to create cards, collect responses, and inspect what happened after the exchange. The annual invoice makes sense when those workflows will run throughout the year. It is a poor fit for a short campaign whose future is still uncertain.

The administration layer matters too. Uniqode documents admin controls, including bulk card generation, templates, permissions, role based access, and Microsoft Entra ID provisioning. Those controls help when a brand needs approved card structures and someone must decide who can change them. They are excess machinery for one person with one profile.

Branding is a distribution decision

Basic customization can make the Free card presentable. Team is where the card becomes a coordinated asset through advanced customization, premium designs, branded QR codes, and templates. Business+ goes further with a minimum of 50 users, unlimited cards per user, white labeling and custom fonts, unlimited analytics, Microsoft Entra ID, Salesforce, HubSpot, and one custom domain.

That matters when the card is part of a branded rollout rather than a personal contact shortcut. A common template keeps the team recognizable. Bulk creation keeps an administrator from rebuilding every profile by hand. A branded QR code closes the gap between the printed handout and the digital destination.

Wallet sharing and normal browser access remove another familiar point of friction. The recipient can save the card without installing an app, so the exchange does not depend on whether a prospect is willing to create an account in the moment. If your distribution model includes events, printed materials, or people who will never use your app, that capability is worth paying attention to.

Business+ is a conversation, not a price comparison. Its custom quote and 50 user minimum put it in larger rollout territory. Ask for the exact domain, branding, integration, and account lifecycle terms you need before treating the quote as a finished decision.

Lead capture is the upgrade you feel later

The card exchange is only the front door. Uniqode supports two way contact sharing and lead capture, including scanning physical business cards or badges, central contact management, and support for following up. That changes the product from a page someone saves into a place where a team can organize what came back from a conversation.

The distinction is practical. If you only need to hand over your own details, Free may be plenty. If you need the other person to share details back, want leads collected from several representatives, or need a central place to manage contacts after an event, the paid workflow starts to earn its keep. The value is not the tap or scan. It is the handoff that follows it.

Uniqode also documents Salesforce, APIs, and Zapier for other CRM systems, with HubSpot and Salesforce lead integrations on its feature pages. Treat those as workflow requirements to confirm against your own stack, not as a reason to buy before you know who owns the resulting contacts.

Analytics needs a longer memory

Uniqode's feature documentation lists analytics for card views, saved cards, users, time of day, device, IP based location, permission based GPS location, Google Analytics, and email reports. That is more useful than a simple scan counter. It can show whether a card was viewed, saved, and used by the audience you were trying to reach.

The Free plan's 14 day window is the constraint. Team's unlimited card analytics is the cleaner choice when events, recruiting, sales activity, or recurring networking need comparison over time. The question is not whether analytics exist. It is whether the history lasts long enough to change what your team does next.

There is some outside support for the usability of this part of the product. G2's 4.8 out of 5 rating comes from 36 reviews, and a reviewer described the QR code and digital business card analytics as easy to understand while wishing for more account usage information. That is a useful distinction: a dashboard can be clear and still leave an administrator wanting a broader view of the account.

Check the exit before the annual invoice

The important migration question is not whether you can export a spreadsheet of names. It is whether you can leave with the card content and a working plan for the public profile. Uniqode's public help center documents contact export and deleting an individual contact from Contact Manager. Do the export while the account is active, and decide who owns the file before a team rollout creates a larger pile of contacts.

The same documentation does not state a procedure for exporting the card profile itself. That is a documentation gap, not evidence that the data cannot be moved. Ask Uniqode to confirm whether card content, design settings, QR destinations, and wallet references can be exported or recreated, and keep the answer with the purchase record.

Account deletion is clearer. A single user can delete the Uniqode account, and the deletion article says all account data will be removed. Deleting an account is not the same as migrating a card, so treat those as separate checks.

The pricing terms say Team and Business+ cards remain accessible while the subscription is active, and that cancelling before annual renewal leaves the service available through the paid subscription period. They do not specify a grace period after access ends, a recovery window, or a migration path. Before the first annual invoice, export the contacts, confirm the card profile exit path, and ask what happens after access ends. That is a small amount of diligence compared with rebuilding a team's public identity under pressure.

A browser first alternative for a smaller job

If the job is one free card that people can open without an app, Zapped is a browser first option. Its card opens from a QR code, link, or NFC tap in a normal browser, where the recipient can save the contact without installing anything.

Zapped's Free plan is $0 with no credit card, one digital card, five content blocks, and QR, link, and NFC sharing. The tradeoff is visible: Free cards carry a Zapped badge, and removing that badge is a Professional feature. That is a straightforward limit to weigh when a personal card needs to stay simple and a branded rollout does not.

The measurement window is different too. Zapped documents 60 days of per card analytics on Free, compared with Uniqode's 14 days. Its links and QR codes keep working after edits, so the owner can change the destination without replacing every handout. That makes it a practical fallback for a browser first card when the buyer does not need Uniqode's lead capture, organization controls, or annual team commitment.

This is a fit question. Use the simpler route when one card, five blocks, QR, link, NFC, and a normal browser cover the job. Use Uniqode when the work after the scan is the part you need to systematize.

Verdict

Uniqode Free earns a try when one person needs a real card, can live with five leads and 14 days of analytics, and wants to confirm the exchange before spending anything.

Team earns its $6 per user price when unlimited lead generation, longer term measurement, branded QR codes, templates, bulk creation, integrations, and shared administration will be used throughout an annual term. That figure is not a month to month price, so the commitment belongs in the fit test.

Business+ belongs in the conversation only when a rollout of at least 50 users needs white labeling, custom style, identity provisioning, CRM connections, or a custom domain.

Before paying for any rollout, settle the exit question. Export the contacts while access is available, then ask Uniqode to confirm card profile export and recovery after access ends. The contacts can be exported and the account can be deleted, but neither fact answers what happens to the public card you built. That is the loose end worth closing before it becomes part of how your team works.
