How to use it

  1. Copy your LinkedIn link

Open your profile, copy the address from your browser or the share menu, and paste it here. A username works too.

  2. Check the link

The tool cleans up the address and shows exactly where the code will go. Scan the preview to test it.

  3. Download your code

Use the SVG for print and the PNG for screens, slides and email.

Free means free here

Many free QR code generators are free only until you download, or they quietly make a short link that stops working when a trial ends. This one makes a static code: the content is inside the code itself, so it works forever with no account, no watermark, no ads when people scan it and no expiry.

You still get the design tools people usually pay for: colors and gradients, rounded or dotted modules, round corners, your own logo in the middle, a frame with a label such as Scan me, and downloads as PNG up to 2048 px, SVG, EPS for print shops and a print ready PDF. A built in scan check reads the finished code back, so you know it works before you print it.

Why use a LinkedIn QR code

Spelling out a LinkedIn address at an event rarely works. A QR code takes people straight to your profile, where they can connect in one tap, so a conversation turns into a connection you can follow up with.

Find your profile link

  • On a computer: open LinkedIn, click your photo, choose View profile and copy the address from the browser bar.
  • In the app: open your profile, use the share option and copy the link.
  • Company page: open the page as a visitor and copy the address. It contains /company/ followed by the page name.

Paste whatever you copied. The tool removes tracking parts such as ?trk= and keeps the right kind of page.

The LinkedIn app QR code and this one

The LinkedIn app can show a QR code for your profile, which is handy when you are standing next to someone. This generator gives you a code as an image file, so you can print it, add it to slides and use it anywhere outside the app. Both open the same profile.

Small enough for a badge

A profile link is short, so the code stays simple and prints small:

Real codes made with this tool. Smallest width keeps each square at least 0.4 mm wide.

With a logo in the middle it needs about 1.8 cm (0.7 in). Use the distance table below for anything people scan from farther away.

Where a LinkedIn QR code works

  • Conference badge. Print it 3 cm wide with the label Connect with me, so people can scan it in a queue.
  • Presentation slides. Put it on your intro and closing slides and download the SVG so it stays sharp on the screen.
  • Resume or CV. A 2 cm code in the header lets a recruiter open your profile from a printed copy.
  • Booth and recruiting flyers. Use the company page link so candidates can follow the company and see open roles.
  • Business card. If you only want one code on the card, use a digital card that holds LinkedIn, phone and email together.

Use a clean profile address

A custom public profile URL, such as linkedin.com/in/yourname, looks better wherever it appears next to the code. You can set it in your LinkedIn profile settings. If you change it later, any code that points to the old address stops working, so set it before you print.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see how many people scanned my LinkedIn QR code?

Not with a static code, because it opens LinkedIn directly. If you want scan counts, put the code on a Zapped digital card, which shows how many people viewed it and links to your LinkedIn.

Should the code open my profile or my company page?

Use your profile for networking, badges and resumes, where people want to connect with you. Use the company page on flyers, packaging and recruiting material, where people should follow the business.

Can I add my logo and change the design?

Yes, for free. Pick a theme or set your own colors, dot style, corner style, logo and frame label. The scan check under the preview tells you if a design gets too hard to read.

Which file should I send to a print shop?

Send the SVG or the EPS. Both are vector files that stay sharp at any size. The EPS keeps colors and shapes but leaves out a logo or gradient, so use the SVG for those designs.

Is this LinkedIn QR code free?

Yes. You can make as many codes as you like without an account, and they never expire.

Can I make a QR code for a LinkedIn company page?

Yes. Choose company page and paste the company page link or its name from the address bar.

What happens when someone scans it?

Their phone opens your LinkedIn profile in the LinkedIn app if it is installed, or in the browser if it is not.

Will the code break if I change my LinkedIn URL?

Yes. The code holds the exact address. If you change your public profile URL, make a new code.
